How did Odin lose his eye?
Why did we call our Living History Education service Lore and Saga?

Tabla Lusoria

A very simple game for two from Roman times. Each player has three counters different from the other player. The board is marked out as shown right.

The object is to get your three counters in a row. This can be all along a straight line or next to each other on the circle. The starting position is shown on the right.

Tabla Lusoria Board. This game was played by the Romans.

Moves are made in turn and only along a line (straight or curved). Counters move to the next line junction, unless that space is occupied, in which case they may jump to the next space but only over one counter. The first with their three counters in a row is the winner.    Have fun.
