The Red Brick Tudor Croft
Next to the Viking / Saxon village at Murton Park, near York, the Tudor Croft courses offer school pupils the chance to try out life in Tudor times for themselves.
The children learn a variety of period crafts such as candle
dipping, calligraphy and making pomanders in a wonderfully atmospheric reconstruction of a small Tudor farmhouse
Based around the requirements of the national curriculum Tudor half days offer a memorable educational experience for children studying this period.
In school Tudor days and talks given by interpreters from Murton Park are also available for teachers in the North of England.
