The operator said she would see if someone could take a look up there and said "bye" to me. I said,  hold on a minute, you have not given me a reference number yet. She was taken aback and said it would take a while to raise one. I told her I could wait and  she let out a huff and started tapping away on the keyboard! Needless to  say, if the police did eventually turn up the "men socialising" in the dark quarry basin would be long gone.
