5/4/2009 - 08:16
Two tents camped on Brown Meadows near top of Brushes Clough Quarry.
Note WKD pack and Fosters tin.
First call to rangers attempted. Answer phone full.
Same area 16:06
By now most of the area had been cleared up by another dog walker but note the WKD crown caps and litter scattered almost the the path in the middle distance.
The same tents at 16:18 pitched on the mine head in the top of Black Hey plantation.
I had completely cleaned this area and dispersed the fire place just two days before.
All this litter was deposited by these campers. Two male, two female, late teens/early twenties.
This is the vehicle that the two girls packed their gear into.
It can be clearly seen in the second picture.
It was a few days later 12/4/2009 when I found what they had actually done with the litter having received a warning from John.
It was concealed in the undergrowth on the edge of the mine head area.
I would have found it earlier but events elsewhere on the moor diverted my attention somewhat.
